Davison Athletics Complex

Louisiana Tech is about to unveil a facility that will not only be a huge draw for the university, but will be an incredible asset to Ruston, La. The Davison Athletics Complex, which is nearing the final stages of completion, is in a class of its own. Recently, The Ruston Lincoln CVB got a sneak peak of the complex, and we're excited to share all the details about this one-of-a-kind sports facility.

What's unique about this building is that it's a space for players and fans alike. The football team will now have access to a first-class sports facility complete with several team meeting rooms, a players’ lounge, a decked-out weight room with custom equipment, and an unbelievably spacious locker room with all the amenities.

On the other side of things, the fans that have purchased club seats on the third level of the facility will now have access to a gorgeous club lounge complete with televisions, food buffets, bistro tables and fully-stocked bars. Additionally, there are 302 club seats located right off the lounge in a covered outdoor space that offers an incredible end-zone view of the newly-turfed football field.

"This is probably the closest view of college football," said Adam McGuirt, associate athletics director for internal operations.

Club Lounge
While having one of the top athletic facilities in Conference USA is likely to help with recruiting, donor involvement, game attendance and overall game day experience, there are also numerous benefits that the Davison Athletics Complex will bring to the community.

When it is not being used during the football season, the club lounge will be available as a venue for lectures, banquets and other events. With a max capacity number of 454, the space will be able to host a 400-person lecture or a banquet setup for 320 people.

This is a big deal for Ruston, La., where larger venues such as this are in short supply. To make the deal even sweeter, there is a fully-equip kitchen and staff on site. Additionally, the recent approval to sell alcohol on the club level allows for alcohol to be served at any event held in the club lounge.

As Bulldog fans and community members, we're excited for all the benefits and possibilities that the Davison Athletics Complex is bringing to Ruston, La. and Bulldog Country! We'll see everyone for the first LA Tech home game against Southern on Sept. 5, when the new facility will officially be debuted. Go Dawgs!
