Sweet Treat for your Valentine

We're only a few days away from Valentine's Day! If you're not celebrating on the town, delight your special someone with this homemade dessert using Ruston's own naturally grown Jennings Apiaries honey!

S T R A W B E R R Y  C H E E S E C A K E S  B I T E S

























Ingredients:

Crust
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup butter 
1/4 cup sugar

Cheesecake Filling
2 8 oz. cream cheese
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 8 oz. sour cream
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract

Topping
3 cups chopped fresh strawberries
2 Tbsp. Jennings Apiaries honey
Instructions:
  1. Crust: Combine graham crackers crumbs with melted butter and sugar. Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with heavy-duty foil or parchment. Gently press the crust mixture on the bottom of the pan. 
  2. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  3. Cheesecake: Beat cream cheese on medium speed until light and fluffy Add sweetened condensed milk, eggs, lemon juice, sour cream and vanilla extract, beating until mixed after each addition. 
  4. Pour filling into crust-lined pan and bake for 50 minutes.
  5. Cool pan on wire rack for 1 hour then cut into bite-size pieces. 
  6. Topping: Top cheesecakes with sliced strawberries and drizzle with honey. Serve warm or cold!
