If you haven't heard by now, Hampton Inn of Ruston is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest fruit cobbler (peach cobbler that is) at the Louisiana Peach Festival! And it's no small feat. Everything has to be perfect! See below their mini brick oven.
The cobbler will be 13x9ft and weigh 2,500lbs. Hampton
Inn has secured an adjudicator from the Guinness Book of World Records office
in New York City to make the official decision. The weighing for the cobbler
will be at noon on Saturday, June 27th. Following the record-breaking
announcement, the cobbler will be given out to attendees for the remainder of
the festival!
